The person behind the tools
Hi. I'm Loban — an independent developer making Unity tools out of stubbornness and love for the craft. This whole operation is one person: the code, the docs, the art direction of this very questionable magazine, all of it.
I started the way most of us did — following tutorials, breaking things, prototyping ideas held together with static classes and hope. Somewhere along the way I noticed I enjoyed building the tools as much as the games. The scripts I kept copying between prototypes grew into packages, and the packages are growing into products headed for the Unity Asset Store.
The rule for everything in the catalog: it has to bring something original to the table. If a tool is just a slightly different take on what the store already sells, it doesn't ship — the catalog is for the ideas nobody else bothered to build.
WANT THE TOOLS THEMSELVES?
The catalog is the real biography.
